In General Settings , you can now enable "Block Pop-up Messages". When turned on, this feature activates Do Not Disturb (a Focus mode) automatically for 2 hours when you mirror your screen or connect an external display—so you can stay focused on your presentation without worrying about personal notifications being seen by others. Note: This only takes effect when no other Focus mode is currently active. Enabling Do Not Disturb may also sync across your Apple devices, such as your iPhone.
We've fixed an issue where the overlay wouldn't appear during screen mirroring on macOS 14. It now activates reliably when mirroring begins.
Screen Guard now displays a full-screen overlay immediately after your Mac unlocks, hiding sensitive windows to prevent accidental exposure in public. You can toggle this feature on or off in Settings.
Define exactly when Screen Guard stays active: select specific weekdays or leave all boxes unchecked for always-on protection. You can also set precise start/end times—only during those periods will your chosen apps remain hidden.
A guided, three-click setup walks you through selecting apps to hide, configuring the unlock overlay, and defining your active hours—so you're up and running instantly.
The main interface now lets you add or remove apps, toggle the unlock overlay, and manage Active Hours—all from a unified, easy-to-navigate Settings panel.
Access Screen Guard right from your menu bar: open the Settings or main window, pause protections, or resume them with a single click.
